The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Stergios Papachatzis.

3. What data we collect

Contact form

When you submit our contact form, we collect: name, email address, company name (optional), area of interest, and your message. This data is processed to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

Server log files

When you access this website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically collects server log data, including: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, HTTP status code, browser type, and referring URL. This data is processed for security purposes and is not combined with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website security). Server logs are retained by Cloudflare for a limited period in accordance with their data processing terms.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service hosted in the EU. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors. All data is aggregated. No consent is required.

Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process IP addresses for the purpose of delivering the website and protecting against attacks. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website security).

Fonts

All fonts (IBM Plex) are self-hosted on our servers. No third-party font services are used. No data is transmitted to Google or other providers.

4. Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

5. Recipients and processors

We use the following service providers who may process personal data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) — website hosting and content delivery network (CDN)
  • Plausible Insights OÜ (Västriku tn 2, 50403, Tartu, Estonia) — privacy-focused website analytics (no personal data collected)

These providers act as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. No data is shared with other third parties.

6. Data transfers to third countries

In the course of hosting via Cloudflare, data processing may occur in third countries (including the USA). Cloudflare has committed to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. No other systematic transfer of personal data to third countries takes place.

7. Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained for six months after the inquiry is resolved, unless a business relationship is established, in which case data is retained for the duration of the relationship plus any legally required retention period. Cookies expire as indicated in the table above. You may request deletion at any time.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR). You can withdraw cookie consent by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page.

9. Obligation to provide data

Providing personal data via the contact form is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the required information (name, email, message), we will be unable to process your inquiry.

10. Automated decision-making

We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling as defined in Art. 22 GDPR.

11. Data security

This website uses TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption for all connections. You can verify this by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.

12. Supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
